Using Singapore Math in Our Homeschool

When I first began homeschooling in 2006, I had no idea where to begin. I was pulling a child out of the public school system to begin our homeschool journey. Nervous and a little scared I researched and sought help from the two homeschool moms I knew. One of them highly recommended using Singapore Math.

Given that I trusted this mom and needed a place to start, I decided to order it and give it a go! All these years later I am still Using Singapore Math in Our Homeschool.

What is Singapore Math?

Singapore Primary Math U.S. Edition is a textbook/workbook based math program for the elementary grades. It begins in first grade and has levels through sixth grade. Singapore maths calls on concrete math, pictures, and abstract approaches to teach math.
