Reflections on Finding Everyday Graces
I love journaling ……
But I often find I really only make the time to sit down and write when things are not so great and I need to vent and sort things out in my mind.
In walks the One Thousand Gifts Devotional: Reflections on Finding Everyday Graces. It contains 60 reflections offering you glimpses of grace and helps you to be thankful for your own 1000 gifts.
Things I love about the One Thousand Gifts Devotional
1. It Stands Alone
Even if you have never experienced Ann VosKamps New York Times Best Seller, One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are, you can still fully use, benefit and enjoy this devotional.
Helping you to, “find joy in the midst of deadlines, debt, drama, and daily duties.“
2. It Offers You Focus
Each devotional begins with a scripture verse. This is then followed by some tidbit, more in depth thought, or story. You finish with a small prayer and room to write and reflect.
I love this because it is focusing on the positive, helping to seek and find it, even when your world is wholly chaotic.
I love the size of the One Thousand Gifts Devotional: Reflections on Finding Everyday Graces. It is the size of a book that fit easily in my purse, or on my nightstand and the hardcover makes it durable to carry around with you.
2 Things I Wish It Had
There are just two things I wish the One Thousand Gifts Devotional: Reflections on Finding Everyday Graces had.
The first is a spiral binding so it was easier to open wide to write in.
The second thing I wish this devotional had was a little more free space to write. I would like to be able to do this and keep any journaling I am doing throughout the same time period, all in one place. If this had more free journal space I could have both things together!
All in all One Thousand Gifts Devotional: Reflections on Finding Everyday Graces is a book worth purchasing and digging in to. It offers you the ability to focus your very limited time in a positive and uplifting manner, helping you to focus on your graces.
