I would to have a printable pack but not at the expense of all the daily emails. This is the reason I use feedly to read my blogs. I don’t have to get an email every time someone posts which is good because i have over 100 blogs that I read (15 homeschooling and the rest quilting). That would be a lot of emails to go through. I read every post of your blog and I think you should reconsider your request. Thanks.

Hi Shannon. Thank you so much for faithfully reading my stuff here at StartsAtEight! I totally understand your frustration. I have set the mail up so that there is only a once a week e-mail round-up of anything that was newly posted. That way you are not receiving daily e-mails as I know how much that can clog things up. (I have g-mail and created an automatic forward to a set folder for all my e-mail subscriptions so they don’t clog up my e-mail but I can still check them out if I want to.) I decided on making it weekly instead of for every post after the post was done and had not yet changed the wording in the post. I will be changing the wording now.

How do I download the elective pack? I subscribed, but I can’t find a link or anything to open it. Thanks for your help.

Tina, After you have confirmed your subscription through a “confirmation e-mail” that you receive, you will get another e-mail that contains the link to download the Planning Your High School Electives file. This is my first go around at something like this so there is a learning curve for me too! I am working on seeing if I can add something to the “confirmation e-mail” that lets you know you will receive another e-mail with the link to download the Planning Your High School Electives file. If you don’t get it for some reason, please let me know.

Okay, sorry. The link was in another email folder. Duh me. ;P I’ve got it now, so disregard previous. I am just a techno-not.

LOL! No apologies necessary Tina! Like I said, I am in a learning curve myself, and you are not the first person to ask that question. I am working to make the “confirmation e-mail” more clear as we speak so that hopefully I can clear up the confusion for people. 🙂

You should have received an e-mail with it almost immediately. I would check your spam to see if it went there. If you still can’t find it, let me know and I can e-mail it to you.

Great! You might want to be sure to tag it as not spam so any future e-mails don’t disappear on you! 🙂

I am a subscriber to your blog; however, when I put in my email, it told me that I am already subscribed (from previously) but did not give me an option to receive the link. Am I missing something?

May I also have the link to the “Plan Your High School Electives” as well. No where to be found in my e-mail. I am trying to get an idea of electives for my kiddo entering ninth this year and she is overwhelmed with pressure (done unto herself) to pick the right one to correspond with a future career. Thank you so much for offering this!

I’m trying to get the homeschool electives printable pack. I put in my first and last name. Then my email address. There isn’t a place that says email though. I see first name, last, a blank space that says nothing and then website. I tried both places to put my email address, but nothing happened when I click subscribe. Hopefully, that all made sense, lol!! Anyway, please help 🙂

The”e-mail” box is the top box. It is labeled e-mail right under where it says, “*indicates required”. So top box is e-mail, then First Name, then Last Name, and the bottom is Website. If you have the first 3 boxes filled out correctly and then hit Subscribe, it should work for you.
