It’s the Little Things Thursday
Last week about this time I was working on wrapping up my paperwork and binders for this past year. That includes closing out my Homeschool Tracker for the year, emptying binders, putting away work that was completed this year into a bin, etc. In doing this, I print out a Summary and a Report Card for the kids. They are always happy to see what their “progress” looks like in black and white. I know that Chloe found it very interesting to see how many hours she had spent on each task throughout the year. For example, she spent close to 600 hours at the gym. I can only assume that this little look back at our year is what prompted my inspiration for this weeks Little Things Thursday. It is pictured below and I think it speaks for itself!

Heidi, what a treasure to have your poster of Teacher of the Year Award from your children. In the difficult moments of teaching remember to remind yourself of how you are making inroads into their hearts, minds, and souls. You ara laying foundations for them to build upon all their lives. Many a child can and will stray from their upbringing; whether that be morally, spiritually or academically. As far as your mother goes, she is banking/claiming Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they won’t depart from it. Plus Philippians l:6 He that hath begun a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. Though we don’t know when or how I am certain that whatever you instill within your children it will be completed even if you don’t live to see it.
