I love this post, Heidi! What a sweet tribute! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…you two are inspiring and great reminders of what love and marriage SHOULD be…working hard, playing hard, and using good team work!!

“Those were the days my friend we thought they’d never end!” Lately it seems that as I look/ponder the photos you place on your blog a song somehow comes to mind. Can’t remember the title or the artist though.

These photos are a beautiful picture of the kind of love and committment to one another that the Lord always intended for marriage. It is an awesome blessing, role modeling and legacy to provide for your children.

It was just recently that I got rid of the sweater you are wearing while sitting on Joey’s lap on the stool. We found it at the VOA. It came from a store that is no longer at Greece Ridge Mall. At the moment I can’t recall the label. Both of us enjoyed wearing it.

Another thought that just popped into my head is what incredible hours of enjoyment your father and I had antiquing searching for the following treasures: your trunk (many hours of refinishing love went into it along with Jim Bannister making a new drawer insert), pink depression, furniture (couch at VOA) items, quilt, etc. etc.
