    You are so right about the movie not making sense in some parts without prior knowledge from the book! I loved the movie because I had read the books but others I have talked to did not “get” the movie. And the main reason is because they have not read the book.

    Thanks for the review – my 12 year old enjoyed all 3 books and the movie and it has led to many good discussions.

    While I didn’t read the books or see the movie, my young adult daughters did. You pretty much echoed what they had to say. Great minds… 🙂

    I do believe that the book was pretty well turned into a movie, much better probably then is done with a lot of other books, but then I did read all three books and know pretty much ever detail about it, so I might have a different look on it then when you haven’t read the books beforehand.
