I appreciate your comment about separating your kids so they can focus better. Sometimes togetherness is a good thing, and sometimes it isn’t. We’ve had seasons of both. Whatever works, right?
I enjoyed this peek into your homeschool – thanks for sharing!

Linda, I do believe that a is bonus to homeschooling is being able to be flexible, and being able to be together as a family. But there are definitely seasons where the kids are oil and water instead of peanut butter and jelly! 😉

I love the quote. I was vacuuming 5 minutes before one of the teachers that over sees us came over for a visit. The other one for me is only cleaning the areas that are going to be seen by the visitor. I did that one as well.

My daughter may be join us for homeschooling next year. This is our first year so I have had the thoughts of how they will interacted. I will have to wait and see but there are lots of place to separate them to.

Chris, My husband and I always say that having people over is a good excuse to clean the house! Thus prep for birthday parties, friends over, book club, etc. becomes a good excuse to do thorough job of cleaning things.
